About the Role:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative’s primary role is to solicit new clients and to grow the current customer base in the heavy-duty truck market throughout Western Canada.

The ideal candidate is independent, dynamic, an initiator, rigorous, a team player, someone who likes to take on challenges and is highly motivated.

Duties will include:

  • Reach profitability and sales objectives
  • Spend time conducting client visits
  • Must be willing to travel throughout Western Canada (AB, BC, SK, MB) on a regular basis
  • Work in conjunction with our sales and administrative team in order to do business with new and existing customers
  • Keep up to date call notes on a daily basis utilizing our CRM system
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager
  • Attend weekly and or monthly sales meetings with the sales manager and other team members
  • Perform any other related tasks

Ideal candidates will have:

  • High School Diploma
  • College Diploma in business, sales or marketing will be considered an asset
  • Previous Sales Training
  • Previous experience working in the heavy-duty truck industry will be considered an asset
  • Have at least 4 years sales experience preferably in the heavy-duty truck market
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven outside sales accomplishments
