Cancore is committed to offering a full-line of high quality Charge-Air-Coolers (CAC's) to the replacement market. With emissions testing becoming mandatory throughout North America, the replacement frequency of this wear part has increased dramatically, and will continue to grow.
Commonly referred to as Air-to-Air, Intercoolers, Aftercoolers, and Chassis Mounted Coolers, Cancore's assemblies can cool the engine air in turbocharged applications from 400 degrees F to 110 degrees F. The compressed air is cooled to allow for cleaner fuel burn. By using our Charge-Air-Coolers, our customers experience better fuel consumption, decreased exhaust emissions, higher horsepower, and longer turbo and engine life.
Why compromise on quality when the engine it protects has a replacement cost of $10,000!
- Full line of aluminum recores and new assemblies available
- Utilize extruded tube to increase performance and durability
- Cancore standards are much tougher than OE, allowing zero pressure drop at 100 psi, versus OEM tolerance of 5% leak-rate at 30 psi
- Wind-tunnel and cycle testing (1,000,000) ensure longest life-cycle in industry
- Will recore or replace as required by the customers
- Full aluminum grinding and welding capabilities
- Unlike some competitors, Cancore does not reduce number of tubes and fins versus OEM units, ensuring higher heat reduction rates
- Replacement cores for all import and domestic cars, light trucks, and heavy trucks
- Automotive and light truck cores carry a 2 Year Warranty
- Heavy duty truck cores and kits carry a 1 Year Warranty
